This thread is relatively straightforward: Post some of your artwork. It doesnt have to be spectacular, but it has to be yours. Anything goes. Sketches, Wallpapers, Cartoons, even works in progress.
Follow the format below:
http://filenotfound.oberjaeger.net/Heartbroken.jpg
Title: Heartbroken
Medium: Photoshop CS
Time Spent: Roughly 4 hours.
Hardest Part: Actually, this one was pretty easy for me. I had it already completely designed in my head, it was just a matter of putting it on paper (so to speak) The hardest part would probably have to have been the brushed metal texture. I couldnt find a tutorial for it, so I sorta had to play it by ear.
Description: This is probably my favorite piece. I did it completely from scratch, using no source images. Did all of the textures myself. This is probably the first piece Ive ever been completely happy with.
If you dont have any artwork to post, feel free to comment on other people's artwork.
Also, ImageShack (www.imageshack.us) is a good free host for your images, if you dont have webspace.

It's still a work in progress.
Mainly because I can't afford to get it printed before I get paid on the 1st.

Well, after looking back at it recently, Im thinking I might re-do it. You know, touch up a few things here and there.

Title: Dani
Medium: Paper, Photoshop CS
Time Spent: Around an hour and a half
Hardest Part: Ive been cartooning for ages, so its all become pretty much second nature to me.
Description: This image is based on a girl I know named Dani. This was my first attempt with using the pen tool, and I havent gone back since. I dont know why I didnt start using it before!

Title: Irken Elite 1.0
Medium: Photoshop CS
Time Spent: Roughly 3 hours
Hardest Part: Finding the god damned Irken Insignia
Description: Im an Invader Zim fan, so I decided to make a wallpaper. I did two versions of this. One with the regular insignia, and another with the Cyclops insignia: Irken Elite 2.0 (http://filenotfound.oberjaeger.net/IrkenElite2.jpg)
Why am I the only one using the proper format??

Title: Eye See You
Medium: My shitty digital camera and Photoshop CS
Time Spent: Maybe thirty minutes.
Hardest Part: This was a simple piece, so it was really easy.
Description: I took this picture to show off my new eyebrow piercing, and a lot of people that I showed it to said "Thats a really cool picture" so I decided to screw around with it in Photoshop, and this was the final product. I'm now using it as my deviantID.

Title: Mr. Cheesy Poof
Medium: Digital camera and Photoshop 7.0
Time Spent: About 3 hours(with coffeebreaks and all that)
Hardest Part: First time i actually worked with the pen tool, so had to play around with it a little before i understood how it worked
Description: I run around taking pictures of all sorts of things... found this cool piece of grafitti and wanted to make i cartoonish, so I did.
Here's the original photo:

Title: Eye 'n' Hand
Medium: Stock photos and Photoshop 7.0
Time Spent: About 20 minutes.
Hardest Part: Not so hard since I'm usually manipulating with pictures.
Description: Got hold of a big picture of a hand and an even larger picture of an eye. Started to melt the eye into the hand. Made it greyscale since the skin-colors didn't matched very well. Thought it looked boring without colors so I added my own colors. Scaled the picture down to a comfortable size for viewing on the net.

Well eh.. it's different from person to person. Some ppl are good at one thing and other ppl er good at other things. As you can see it took me about three hours to make Mr. Cheesy Poof... for some ppl it would've only taken them about 10-20 minutes.

I like the Mr. Cheesy Poof thing. Its quite well done. And I hear ya on the difficulty of using the pen tool for the first time. It can be quite confusing at first. Once you get the hang of it, its quite a powerful tool.

Title: She Made Me Kill Myself
Medium: Photoshop CS
Time Spent: Probably around 5 minutes.
Hardest Part: Not being distracted by the source image
Description: My friend Hannah (http://20xahha02.deviantart.com/) sent me a photograph of her, and I was bored, so I figured Id mess around with it a bit.
Froberg
29th April 2005, 13:26

Title: Untitled DeviantID
Medium: Photoshop CS (as usual)
Time Spent: 1+ hours.
Hardest Part: Finding inspiration to actually create a piece
Description: I sat down to make a quick icon (I got bored with my old one) and what I ended up making turned out so well, I decided to also make it my new deviantART ID.
Froberg

Title: Essence of Beauty - Dani
Medium: Photoshop CS
Time Spent: A couple hours a day for about 4-5 days.
Hardest Part: I'd have to say getting the shading and skin-tones to look right. Oh, and the hair.
Description: A digital painting of my friend Dani. It took forever. I spent several hours on the eyes alone. Overall I'm pretty impressed with myself, even though there are still a few details that really bug me. I figure I'll be touching this up occasionally well into the next decade.

Title: Self Portrait
Medium:Photoshop CS
Time Spent: An hour or two here and there over the span of about 9 days.
Hardest Part: I was working from my senior photo, but I wanted it to look more like I do now, so adding the parts that weren't actually in the reference photo was rather difficult.
Description: I've never really liked doing self portait-type things. I've always felt that it was rather egotistical. Don't really know why. The only reason I actually did this one is because the only decent photo I had to work from was a photo of me. I worked from my senior photo, and made a few modifications to make it look more like I do now. Added the eyebrow piercing, and facial hair, changed the hairstyle, and (re)added the earring. I'm pretty sure I had the damned thing in when they took the photo...

Title: Self Portrait 2
Medium:Photoshop CS2
Time Spent: About 6 hours.
Hardest Part: Actually motivating myself to go to class and work on it.
Description: One of the projects in my Intro To Computer Graphics class was a self portrait. Little did my teacher know, I'd already done one. This one came along rather smoothly, and turned out quite well.

I drew this ages ago, but it's probably a good example of my skills at their height. http://www.partly-cloudy.net/personal/fanart/catgirl.jpg
Yes, it's a furry, but it was done as a favor to a friend who loves catgirls. I think it's kind of crappy; I suck at hands and my shading looks like it was done by a blind retarded monkey, but if I was going to post something, I figured my first "something" should be some kind of naked fanservice.
