I broke my new 8gig PNY thumbdrive and decided to look for some way to still use it.

So I decided to take a old xbox360 charging cord and cut it up a bit. I removed all the wiring and plastic holding the usb plugin in place. Then glued the plastic back in where the new memory chip and plugin wouldn't get pushed back into the boot. (Didn't even need that much room, but its what I had lying around) Shoved the plugin for the thumbdrive into the boot and super glued it shut. Then I cut the wires short and glued them into the back end to make it look pulled apart.

Any of you made anything interesting?

So, what's, it's a thumb drive that looks like a broken USB cable? :p

Yes, just trying to make conversation Fro.

Took a look at it after it broke and the sucker was barely over an inch long and I thought I could make a cool "case" out of just about anything.

Now post something creative cur. :P

That's pretty cool man- I can't say I've done something like that, but I did once make a necklace out of an old pair of boxers, hahaha.
