Right, so everything is waiting to be delivered.. probably won't be up and running proper until some time in the middle of this month.
Went for a Core i7 2600K
8 GB (2x4GB configuration) memory, gskill
850 watt fully modular Corsair power supply (80 plus gold)
Gigabyte motherboard, Z68 series.
Antec Kühler (Liquid cooling system for CPU)
And to fit it all..
A Corsair Obsidian 700D Full-Tower case. This thing is fucking EPIC!

This promises to be my best build, ever! Even looking at SSD'ing it up, too!

Hopefully this one will last me a while, should probably upgrade the 'ole 5770 as well though.

6970's are pretty available monetary-wise now.
That case is goddamn sexy.

Aye, I considered the 800D, but the side-window ruined it for me.

This promises to be my best build, ever!
Well that's a pretty redundant statement. Considering the advancement of technology from year to year, every build will be better than the one before it. :p
That is a pretty spiffy case though. I really like the bottom mounted PSU (top heavy cases are a bitch to lug around to LAN parties) and the no screws everywhere is definitely a plus as well. But it does seems kind of massive. Although cable management would be way easier to deal with at that size.

When I said "Best build" I was mostly referring to case quality.
I've always skimped slightly on cases, and gone for the medium range. Not dirt cheap, but usually some sort of Cooler Master offering.
This is the kind of case I've been wanting since.. well.. forever.
