I got the SteelSeries Merc Stealth keyboard for my gaming needs. So far I've tried out a series of games using the onboard macros and made my own set for SC2, and it's holding up pretty well! Now I just need a better mouse...

I need a new keyboard, once I get my desktop fixed. Sigh.

Logitech Media Keyboard, my fourth one in as many years. It's neat!

That's the one I got my dad for Father's Day :P It is pretty funky, for sure.

I go for cheap.. Logitech has excellent quality at a low price point, and I don't hesitate throwing them out if they break, which they usually do when you write an insane amount of shit.

I've recently switched to a mechanical keyboard and let me tell you, I won't ever look back. I have the Razer Black Widow Ultimate and it's friggin' amazing. The tactile response from the keys is far superior to that of a standard keyboard. It's definitely improved my speed and accuracy noticeably. Not too significantly mind you, but noticeably. The blue LEDs under each key sure are purdy too. :p

I've also matched it with a Razer DeathAdder gaming mouse. Again, the best mouse I've ever used by far. It's on the cheaper end of the spectrum as far as gaming mice go, but there is a reason it's so popular. Perfect shape and size, fits perfectly in my hand. Amazing precision. I tried some of the more expensive gaming mice, but they didn't feel as comfortable or natural as the DeathAdder.

I highly recommend both to anyone looking to upgrade to something more "enthusiast" for gaming.

Yeah, I'm looking for a new gaming mouse to accompany my new keyboard. The original plan was to give my old keyboard to work so we had a keyboard that had keys you could actually press more than half the time, but I had forgotten that the USB stick for my keyboard was also the same stick for my mouse, and I kinda need my mouse right now...

Razer is overpriced.

Go for Logitech stuff.

I tried out a couple Logitech mice at the store, but they all felt kinda clunky and slow, especially compared to this Razor mouse. Keep in mind I was looking for a gaming mouse in particular.

Qpad 5k is the best mouse I've ever had.

There's a reason the MX518 is still in production.
