View Full Version : Invalid Redirect when logging in

For some reason when I try to login in from the front page I get the following error: "Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.404forums.net/)". Attempting to login a second time seems to do the trick, but I'm forced to login in twice EVERYTIME I visit the site. I haven't experienced this issue before. Perhaps something that should be looked into.
And yes, I am aware that I can just click on "Remember Me?" to auto login which is what I normally do on my home PC. But at work I prefer to login in manually.

Could you try NOT using www. in front? Just to test?

Well that seemed to do the trick. Odd...

I think it's to do with cookie-settings, we had to do some tweaking a while back to fix some fubar behavior, maybe I need to investigate further.

So I should delete my cookies?

Nah it's a server-side thing. After thinking about it more it was done like that to prevent people either logging in to www.404 or 404forums.net. It's basically forcing use of a non www. version.. at least that was the intent.

I just click on the forums button, and it goes right there with me logged on.
Edit, forberg I got on just as I logged on 15 minutes ago.

You may have to delete your 404 cookies if you experience being logged out despite having checked "remember me"
